Gold Bronze pigments for the printing industry
Gold Bronze pigments for Flexo- and Gravure printing
coarser particles can be used (up to 14 microns). Our pigments are odor-free thanks to the unique dry milling process. This parameter is important for e.g. food packaging. We recommend our OPAGOLD grades.
Gold Bronze pigments for Offset printing
is an indirect printing process in which an inked image is first transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket and then to a flat substrate. The process requires extremely small particle sizes in 3-8 micron range. We recommend our OPAGOLD grades.
Gold Bronze pigments for Screen printing
offers the advantage of being suitable for a very wide range of surfaces such as paper, cardboard, plastic, leather, textile, glass and metal. Even non-flat surfaces and substrates can easily be printed. We recommend using grades with a D90 value which is 3 times smaller than the screen mesh size. Our BEGOLD and GOLDIP grades accentuate the glitter and sparkle in the end product while our GOLDING grades delivers more opacity.

Gold Bronze pigments for Aerosol coatings
our GOLDIP grades are ideal for the aerosol spray can market. The rule of thumb for the use of metallic pigments in aerosol spray cans is that the opening of the nozzle should be at least 3 times larger than the D90 particle size of the metallic pigment in the formulation.

In addition to the decorative effect, copper and bronzes have clear antifouling properties that enhance the durability of the coatings.
Our BEGOLD 1250-10, the BEGOLD 1250-16 and BEGOLD 1300-10 are a point of reference in the furniture coatings market. As confirmed by many of our customers, the BEGOLD 1300-10 is the closest imitation of gold leaf on the market. Pale Gold is the most popular pigment in that market but our range also includes Rich Pale Gold, Rich Gold and Copper gold.

it is in the nature of bronzes and coppers to show moderate resistance to extreme temperatures. However, this must be seen in function of time and formulation. We recommend dosing the pigments at the very end of the extruders to minimize the impact or temperature.
