Pigment range

Aluminium pigments

Aluminium pigments are obtained by melting or grinding aluminium raw material of high purity to aluminium granules. The aluminium granules are in turn milled to aluminium flake pigments and the metallic effect obtained is comparable with silver.

The different sizes of aluminium pigments obtained range from 80µm (microns) down to 7µm(microns), in conformity with the requirements and restrictions of specific processes. The aluminium pigments are used for their metallic effect in a variety of decorative processes in the printing inks, coatings, plastic materials industries.

Aluminium powders are also used in a number of functional applications in the production of building materials and in the chemical industries.

Gold bronze and Copper pigments

Gold bronze and Copper pigments are obtained by melting respectively copper and zinc raw material to bronze granules or pure copper to copper granules . The granules are in turn milled to bronze flake and copper flake pigments.

Depending on the ratio copper –zinc in the foundry, the metallic effects obtained will provide various shades ranging from 100%Copper to Pale gold, Rich Pale gold, to Rich gold (yellow). The sizes obtained range from 42µm down to 3µm, inconformity with the requirements and restrictions of specific processes.

Copper and gold bronze pigments are used for their metallic effect in a variety of decorative processes in the printing inks, coatings, plastic materials industries, as well as certain functional appllications.
