Advantages of Using Powders instead of Pastes
- The AVL dry milled powders do not contain solvents, higher flexibility when preparing formulation, even traces of solvents can have an adverse effect for some applications.
- Powders are easy to weigh and to handle.
- Shelf life of 2 years under the prescribed storage conditions while some pastes should be used within 6 months after reception.
- Powders are easy to dry blend (in drum) with other dry components (some binders, additives ...), makes the application simple and efficient, metallic effect is retained with such handling due to low extrusion requirements, low costs.
