* L / NL note
L = Leafing grades - NL = Non leafing grades. Leafing grades are used for applications requiring maximum metallic Brilliance and reflection. Non leafing grades typically are to remain inside the film application and will provide al ower metallic brilliance, reflection.
Origin of aluminium powder
Aluminium powders are made of aluminium metal of high purity of at least 99,7%. All aluminium grades in this section are meant to be used in conventional - solvent based formulations. A predispersion of these grades will be obtained by adding A small quantity of solvent and by mixing with A slow rotation mixer prior to adding the binder / varnish and other components.
